ARTS PROGRESS JOURNAL MYP 3 A, Music Class Alfredo von Reckow This Reflective Journal is supposed to track and reflect about my journey through the music class, with each entry being for a certain assignment. I will talk about specific things that happen during the class, and my second thoughts on everything that has happened . ENTRY #1 In this entry, I will talk about the Tah and Conduct and Calpping methods to keep track of beats and how to read certain notes. We started off with the teacher sending us an ear training book. This book is supposed to help you and teach you to use the tah and conduct and clap and count strategies to keep up with a metronome, and how to read the different types of notes. My progress in this wasn't the best to start off with, as in the beginning I was uninterested. When I started taking interest into the process, I managed to have a somewhat decent conduction ability.
